YES, it’s that time again
it gives me great pleasure to announce the return of the YES programme – the Prysmian Group Stock Ownership Plan. After the achievement of last year – where 32% of employees seized the opportunity to own their share of Prysmian Group – we now aim to make YES an even greater success. During the first three weeks of February, the new enrollment stage will be open to our employees. Local ambassadors are already available to support you and to give all the details and information about the plan.
Over the course of our 130 year history we’ve been at the forefront of projects which have led the development of the world’s infrastructure and shaped the future. I firmly believe that it is the ideas and actions of each Prysmian individual that has enabled us to build such a great company that thrives in the face of adversity. While our Group has faced significant challenges over the last year, we have had the strength and cohesion to continue to succeed.
You, the people of Prysmian, have enabled us to overcome the difficulties we have faced such as those on our Westernlink project. When challenged, we’ve been able to maintain our status as the worldwide leader in the cable industry, because of the passion and commitment of you, our people.
As you know, I’m a firm believer in our company. We created the YES programme to strengthen the ties between Prysmian and its people. And do you know what? We succeeded. By giving each colleague the opportunity to own part of the Group last year, we made a positive commitment to our future, building closer relationships between our people and engaging them in a way never achieved before.
Now, with a shared purpose and a common vision, we are stronger together. I believe that Prysmian has a bright and successful future ahead, and you are a big part of that. By saying YES again today, we will be even stronger tomorrow.
